Prince Harry Claims 'Unjustified Treatment' in Security Legal Challenge

Prince Harry is appealing a High Court ruling regarding his taxpayer-funded security, claiming he has been 'singled out' and received 'inferior treatment' since stepping back from royal duties in 2020. In his latest court appearance, Harry's barrister argued that the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (Ravec) did not follow its own guidelines when reducing his security level, asserting that the process used was unjustified. Harry believes the safety of his children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, is compromised without adequate protection during visits to the UK. The Home Office's barrister countered that Harry's perspective is overly simplistic. Despite both being in the UK, Harry reportedly did not meet with his father, King Charles, during this visit. The ongoing legal battle has so far cost the British taxpayer approximately £500,000.
