Three Teenagers Arrested Attempted Murder 15-Year-Old Sunderland

Three teenagers, two boys aged 16 and a 15-year-old girl, have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a 15-year-old boy was seriously injured in a stabbing incident at Herrington Country Park in Sunderland. The boy was found injured on Margaret Terrace and taken to hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening, remaining in stable condition. Northumbria Police are conducting extensive inquiries and have appealed to witnesses who may have been in the high footfall area at the time to come forward with information. It is believed that some of those involved in the incident may know each other. Police officers continue to patrol and search the area to offer reassurance to the community while the investigation is ongoing. The next of kin of the injured boy have been informed, and the three teenagers remain in custody for questioning.
