Two Van Driver Deaths Confirmed in Worcestershire, Birmingham Crashes
A series of fatal and serious vehicle collisions involving vans occurred recently in the West Midlands and Worcestershire. In Birmingham, a 29-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash with a van on Warwick Road, with police seeking any dashcam or doorbell footage. Meanwhile, in Worcestershire, a 31-year-old van driver died after a collision with a lorry on Alcester Road, Flyford Flavell; a man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving but later released under investigation. This crash also involved a third vehicle, a white Renault Trafic van, which was on the road at the time. In a separate incident in Salisbury, a 36-year-old man was arrested after crashing a blue Ford Tourneo van into a block of flats during a police pursuit; he faces multiple charges including dangerous driving and drug driving and has been released under investigation. Authorities continue to investigate all incidents and appeal for witnesses to come forward.
