Multiple US City, County Offices Close Monday for Labor Day

In observance of Labor Day on Monday, September 1, 2025, various government offices and services across multiple U.S. locations will be closed. In New Mexico, all Department of Workforce Solutions offices, including the Unemployment Insurance Operations Center, will be closed, though the online Unemployment Insurance Tax & Claims System will remain available 24/7; customers may experience delays in benefit transactions due to bank and postal closures. Iredell County government offices and services, including Animal Services, Public Health, and Solid Waste Facilities, will also be closed, with limited emergency response for animal control; however, parks and the recreation center will remain open, and the seasonal pool will operate for its final day. Similarly, San Angelo city offices will be closed, but garbage collection will continue, the landfill will be closed earlier on August 30, and Fort Concho will remain open for self-guided tours.
