Bob Dylan Biopic A Complete Unknown Set for Release

The upcoming biopic A Complete Unknown, starring Timothée Chalamet as Bob Dylan, focuses on the pivotal transition in Dylan's career from folk to electric music during the 1960s. Director James Mangold revealed that Dylan was actively involved in the project, meeting with him multiple times to provide feedback and even suggesting specific lines for the script. Interestingly, Dylan insisted on including a 'totally inaccurate moment' in the film, showcasing his penchant for obfuscation, much to the concern of Mangold and actor Edward Norton, who portrays Pete Seeger. Additionally, Dylan requested that his former girlfriend Suze Rotolo's name be changed in the film to protect her privacy. A Complete Unknown is set for release on December 25, 2024, in the U.S. and January 17, 2025, in the U.K.
