Kenneth Sims, NFL No. 1 Pick, Dies at 65
Kenneth Sims, a renowned former Texas Longhorns football player and No. 1 overall pick in the 1982 NFL Draft, passed away at the age of 65. Sims, who played from 1978-1981, was a two-time consensus All-American and won the Lombardi Award as a senior, helping Texas achieve a 10-1-1 record and a No. 2 national ranking in 1981.
