Agustin Escobar, President and CEO of Siemens Spain, along with his wife, Merce Camprubi Montal, and their three children, tragically died in a helicopter crash in the Hudson River shortly after taking off for a sightseeing tour from Manhattan. The Bell 206L-4 LongRanger IV helicopter experienced a mid-air structural failure, leading to its crash just 15 minutes into the flight. Witnesses reported seeing the helicopter breaking apart in the air before plunging into the water.
