SunCar Technology Group Inc. has formed a strategic partnership with ByteDance’s Volcano Engine to integrate the Doubao Large Language Model (LLM) into its automotive services and insurance platforms. This collaboration aims to leverage Doubao’s multimodal AI to improve SunCar's vehicle dispatch system, auto insurance SaaS solutions, and user interfaces, enhancing policy matching accuracy by 40% and reducing underwriting claim costs. The integration is also expected to lower customer acquisition costs by up to 70%, cut service dispatch response times from 30 minutes to under 5 minutes, and increase customer conversion rates by 35%. Additionally, AI-driven improvements include predictive maintenance, AI image recognition for vehicle inspections, automated partner marketing, and intelligent reporting tools. SunCar plans to extend its intelligent dispatch system across most of its network by 2026, boosting customer retention and revenue, particularly in the electric vehicle segment.
