Justice Haynes Transfers to Michigan Football

Justice Haynes, a former Alabama running back, has transferred to the University of Michigan, as announced by the school. Highly regarded in the transfer portal, Haynes brings a strong performance record, having been Alabama's third-leading rusher with 448 yards and seven touchdowns in 2024. Originally a top-30 ESPN 300 recruit, Haynes is expected to play a significant role in Michigan's backfield, which lost seniors Kalel Mullings and Donovan Edwards, who combined for over 1,500 rushing yards last season. The Wolverines, under first-year coach Sherrone Moore, are retooling their roster after an 8-5 season, adding eight transfer players including Haynes. This move strengthens Michigan's running game and positions them for a strong 2025 season. Haynes was also pursued by South Carolina and Ole Miss before choosing Michigan.
