Stepfather Charged in Gwinnett County Fatal Shooting

Johnny Mays Blackshear Jr., 54, has been charged with malice murder and other offenses for the fatal shooting of his stepson, Jordan Calloway, 26, in a domestic-related incident at a Gwinnett County hotel. The shooting occurred around 7:30 p.m. on January 28 near Venture Parkway and Market Street. Calloway was found by police with a gunshot wound and later died at the hospital. Authorities coordinated with the Walton County Sheriff's Office for Blackshear's arrest, and he is currently held at Gwinnett County Jail.
