In one of the most bizarre murder investigations, Michelle James from Beddau, Pontypridd, unwittingly discovered the decomposing body of John Sabine, hidden for years by his wife Leigh Ann Sabine. Leigh, who often joked about having a medical skeleton, had wrapped her husband's body in plastic, leading neighbors to believe it was a prank when they retrieved it from her garden after her death in 2015. Michelle, initially arrested on suspicion of murder, revealed the truth, prompting police to delve into Leigh's past. They discovered that John had been missing since 1997 and was last seen alive in 1997. Leigh had allegedly killed John with blunt force trauma and concealed his body, maintaining the charade for nearly two decades.
