GCAPP Celebrates 30 Years, Hosts Rising Leaders Luncheon in Atlanta

The Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Power & Potential (GCAPP) will celebrate its 30th anniversary with the second annual Rising Leaders Luncheon on June 6, focusing on empowering youth through advocacy and education. The event aims to recognize young leaders and their contributions, featuring a Youth Ambassador of the Year Award to honor exceptional individuals who exemplify leadership and advocacy. GCAPP has significantly impacted over 360,000 youth in Georgia through various programs aimed at enhancing youth development and health education. Dr. Ronald McNeill, the president and CEO of GCAPP, emphasized the importance of empowering young voices to drive change. Special guests from entertainment and community leadership are anticipated, continuing the tradition of bringing influential figures to inspire attendees. This celebration not only marks GCAPP's achievements but also launches new initiatives aimed at further supporting Georgia's youth.
