Randy Parker Appointed CEO of Hyundai North America

Randy Parker has been appointed as the CEO of Hyundai and Genesis Motor North America, effective January 1, 2025, succeeding José Muñoz, who has been promoted to global president and CEO of Hyundai Motor Company. Parker, who has led Hyundai Motor America since August 2022, has a history of driving significant sales growth and has made Hyundai one of the fastest-growing mainstream automotive brands in the U.S. He will oversee operations across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, as well as manufacturing facilities in Alabama and Georgia. His dual role includes guiding the luxury brand Genesis, presenting the challenge of elevating its status among competitors like Mercedes-Benz and BMW. With over 30 years of experience in the automotive industry, Parker aims to enhance customer experience while responding to market dynamics. His leadership is expected to maintain the momentum of sales growth in North America.
