Major League Soccer Relocates Production to WWE Headquarters

Major League Soccer (MLS) is relocating its media and broadcast production operations to WWE's headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut, a move that marks an extension of their partnership with IMG. The new facility, known as The Studios at WWE, spans 30,000 square feet and features five fully equipped studios, which will serve as the hub for MLS Season Pass programming in both English and Spanish. This collaboration is expected to enhance the production quality and expand content offerings for MLS, which produces over 600 matches annually. WWE's executive vice president of media and production, Lee Fitting, expressed optimism that the state-of-the-art facilities will elevate the capabilities of MLS and IMG. Seth Bacon, MLS' executive vice president of media, also highlighted the excitement surrounding the league and the potential for innovative broadcasting formats. The transition to the new facility is set to begin soon, with around 75 staff members initially working on-site.
