Asher Hong Leads Senior, Kan Kurecki Top Juniors at U.S. Gymnastics Championships

At the 2025 Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships in New Orleans, Asher Hong dominated the senior men's division with an all-around score of 85.585, leading by more than four points and positioning himself strongly for a second national title. Hong excelled particularly in vault, floor exercise, rings, and parallel bars, while Fuzzy Benas and Colt Walker trailed in second and third places, respectively. In the junior divisions, Maksim Kan led the 17-year-old group and Jakson Kurecki topped the 16-year-old group, with Kurecki excelling on the horizontal bar and Kan leading on pommel horse. Olympian Stephen Nedoroscik, known for his pommel horse skills, returned to competition with a fifth-place finish in his signature event, scoring 14.200, after a busy year that included appearing on "Dancing With The Stars." Meanwhile, Brody Malone managed top-four finishes in three events despite skipping floor exercise and vault to protect a surgically repaired knee. The championships continue through August 10, showcasing top gymnastic talent across multiple events.
