The teachers appointed by the Rajasthan Medical Education Society are protesting the decision to apply revised pay rules only to newer appointees, leaving pre-August 1 appointees under existing rules, causing significant pay disparities. This protest highlights the demand for uniform service rules to ensure equity and maintain faculty morale. In a separate incident at MGM Medical College in Indore, faculty transfers have sparked objections from the Medical Teachers’ Association, who denounce the transfers as illegal and contrary to NMC norms. The association has demanded immediate revocation of the orders and threatened further action if their demands are not met.
