A 38-year-old man named Jiao from Nanjing, China, who cross-dressed and used the online pseudonym 'Nanjing Uncle Red' or 'Sister Hong,' was arrested for secretly filming sexual encounters with hundreds of men and sharing the videos online for profit. Wearing heavy makeup, wigs, and women's clothing, Jiao deceived men into visiting his flat where a hidden camera recorded their encounters; he charged a membership fee to access these videos. While Jiao claimed to have slept with 1,691 men, police consider this number exaggerated and have not disclosed the exact figures or profits made. Many men featured in the videos only discovered they were being filmed after the footage leaked online, leading to reports to the police and widespread identification by friends and family, sparking a heated debate and public health concerns on Chinese social media.
