Nissan Ends Heisman House Campaign After 15 Years, Launches College Football Road Trip Ads
Nissan is marking the 15th season of its Heisman House campaign by shifting from the traditional mansion setting to a road trip format, showcasing its latest vehicles with college football legends on the move. The campaign features celebrated Heisman Trophy winners such as Travis Hunter, Baker Mayfield, Barry Sanders, Eddie George, Tim Tebow, Robert Griffin III, and Gino Torretta traveling across the country in Nissan models including the Pathfinder, Rogue, Frontier, and the next-generation Leaf. Nissan U.S. CMO Allyson Witherspoon explained the creative shift was designed to highlight the quality, durability, reliability, and safety of Nissan's lineup, while maintaining the engaging player interactions fans love. The campaign includes five commercials aired throughout the college football season on major networks and online, and also introduces a crossover with Dr. Pepper’s Fansville franchise, blending two long-running college football ad campaigns. This new approach aligns with Nissan's recognition as the top mass-market brand for new vehicle quality in the 2025 J.D. Power study and aims to deliver a fresh, exciting narrative that capitalizes on the brand’s award-winning vehicles. The ads can be viewed on Nissan USA’s YouTube channel, featuring humorous and thematic elements like avoiding rival states and road trip adventures.
