Liverpool, Hull Pride Events Draw Thousands Amid Safety Measures

Liverpool Pride 2025 returns on July 26 with a new route, party, and location after initial cancellation due to financial and organisational challenges, including cutting ties with sponsor Barclays. The city’s oldest LGBTQ+ charity, Sahir, stepped in with seven weeks' notice to facilitate the event, which features a waterfront march, cabaret show, street parties, and family zones, aiming to raise £60,000 via GoFundMe to cover costs.
