Georgia Tech Edges NC State 30-29

Aaron Philo led Georgia Tech to a thrilling 30-29 comeback victory against NC State with an 18-yard touchdown run in the final 22 seconds. The Jackets, trailing 29-23 with just over a minute left, executed a 75-yard drive that showcased Philo's passing and rushing capabilities. Despite a late touchdown from NC State's Hollywood Smothers, which had put the Wolfpack ahead, Philo's leadership shone through as he completed 19 of 33 passes for 265 yards, while also contributing significantly on the ground with 57 rushing yards. Defensively, Georgia Tech intercepted NC State quarterback CJ Bailey three times, including a pivotal pick returned for a touchdown by E.J. Lightsey. The win allowed Tech to finish their home season undefeated at 5-0, while NC State's hopes for bowl eligibility were dashed. The Yellow Jackets will next face No. 10 Georgia on November 29.
