Honduran TikTok Star Jennifer Rivas Dies, Suspected Epilepsy

Jennifer Nicole Rivas, a 21-year-old Honduran TikTok creator and television presenter for CHTV, was found dead in her Tegucigalpa home on October 1. Local reports and her family said Rivas had epilepsy, was on medication, and they believe an epileptic seizure likely contributed to her death. Rivas had about 100,000 TikTok followers and was involved with the comedy group Los Venados 504 and appeared in the El Eventazo: Pickle War segment. Honduran podcast El Showsero TV and colleagues expressed condolences on social media.
