Multiple New OTT Movies, Series Launch Across Platforms September 8-12

This week features a diverse lineup of new OTT releases across major streaming platforms including Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, and JioHotstar. Notable highlights include the fifth season of the popular mystery-comedy series Only Murders in the Building on JioHotstar, which follows the trio investigating the death of a doorman at their apartment building. Amazon Prime Video premieres Saiyaara, a musical romantic drama about a troubled musician and a shy poet, and the action-packed Tamil film Coolie starring Rajinikanth. JioHotstar also introduces Task, a crime drama about an FBI agent investigating violent home invasions linked to a family man’s double life. Netflix adds the two-part documentary aka Charlie Sheen chronicling the actor’s career and personal struggles, as well as the psychological thriller The Girlfriend. Other releases include crime thrillers like Inspector Zende on Netflix, and a variety of films spanning genres from horror to devotional epics available on multiple platforms.
