COP29 Highlights Youth and Water Initiatives

Hamza Farrukh, CEO of Bondh E Shams, urged global leaders to prioritize scalable solutions to the intertwined crises of climate change and water insecurity, citing the devastating 2022 floods in Pakistan as a critical example. His organization's OASIS Box™ provides solar-powered water filtration, showcasing how clean technology can mitigate water issues while reducing emissions. Meanwhile, Colombia's Environment Minister Maria Susana Muhamad called for a fundamental shift in addressing the climate crisis effectively and urgently.
