Green Bay Man Arrested for Multiple Drug Charges in Delta County

A 56-year-old man from Green Bay, Steven Van Lanen, was arrested by Michigan State Police on January 25 in Bark River Township for multiple drug offenses, including possession of cocaine, methamphetamine, and analogues. The arrest followed a traffic stop initiated after the vehicle he was driving committed violations on Old US-2/41 Highway. Van Lanen was subsequently lodged in Delta County Jail and arraigned on January 27, where his bond was set at $20,000. He is scheduled to appear in court again on February 13. Authorities remind the public that he is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
