Former Andhra Pradesh and Chhattisgarh Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan has been hospitalized in Bhubaneswar due to cardiac complications. Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi visited him in the private hospital, where he engaged with the medical staff to ensure the veteran leader receives proper care. Harichandan's son, Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan, was present during the visit, and both the Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik expressed their wishes for his speedy recovery. Biswabhusan Harichandan, a senior BJP leader, has held significant roles in Indian politics, being appointed Governor in 2019 and again in 2023. His health condition has prompted concern among political leaders in the region.
