Murfreesboro Woman Arrested After Kroger Hit-and-Run Leaves Victim Critical
Murfreesboro police have arrested Heather Keller, 44, in connection with a hit-and-run incident in a Kroger parking lot where a 55-year-old woman was critically injured. The crash occurred just before 6 p.m. on Sunday at the Kroger on South Church Street, and the victim was airlifted to a hospital in critical condition. Keller faces multiple charges including reckless aggravated assault, leaving the scene of an accident involving injuries, and failure to render aid. Prior to her arrest, police had released a photo of the suspect and asked the public to help identify the woman believed to have struck the pedestrian and fled the scene. The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities have urged anyone with information to contact Detective Hall. Keller is currently held at the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center on a $28,500 bond.
