Pride Flags Vandalized at Churches in US

Recent incidents of vandalism targeting LGBTQ+ pride decorations have been reported in various locations, including Tillsonburg, Chicago, and Albuquerque. In Tillsonburg, a rainbow-coloured boardwalk dedicated to the LGBTQ community was damaged twice by a person on a dirt bike, prompting a police investigation. Similarly, in Chicago, the Beverly Unitarian Church had its LGBTQIA+ pride flags and decorations burned in what was described as a deliberate act of hate and violence, leading the church to extend their Pride Month celebrations. Additionally, in Albuquerque, an anonymous homeowner had pride decorations stolen from his yard by a group of individuals, causing distress and emphasizing the need to combat such acts of intolerance and promote inclusivity.
