Rimac Nevera R Breaks 24 EV Speed Records
The Rimac Nevera R has broken 24 world performance records, including reclaiming the 0–400–0 km/h (0–249–0 mph) title from Koenigsegg with a time of 25.79 seconds, 2.04 seconds faster than the Jesko Absolut. Powered by a 2,107 hp quad-motor system, the Nevera R achieved an EV top speed record of 268.2 mph and a 0–60 mph time of 1.66 seconds. Upgrades deliver 15% more downforce and 10% better aerodynamic efficiency compared to its predecessor. Only 40 units will be produced, each priced from €2.3 million, emphasizing exclusivity. All records were independently verified at the Automotive Testing Papenburg facility in Germany. CEO Mate Rimac stated that these achievements demonstrate Rimac's relentless innovation and intent to continue breaking records.
