Coinbase, Perplexity AI Partner Amid Bitcoin Highs

Coinbase has partnered with Perplexity AI to deliver real-time, AI-powered cryptocurrency market data and analytics, aiming to make trading insights more accessible for users. The rollout will occur in two phases: first, Perplexity will ingest Coinbase market data, including the COIN50 index, for its Comet browser, and later, the data will be integrated into Perplexity’s conversational AI for real-time user queries. Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong highlighted the potential for integrating crypto wallets with large language models to promote a permissionless digital economy.
