Tim Burton's Corpse Bride Plans 4K Ultra HD Release September
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Tim Burton’s 2005 stop-motion-animated fantasy musical 'Corpse Bride,' Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment is releasing the film on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and digitally on September 23, 2025. This release includes a newly restored 4K version with High Dynamic Range and Dolby Atmos sound, available in both standard and limited edition Steelbook packaging. The film, co-directed by Tim Burton and Mike Johnson and featuring an all-star voice cast including Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter, tells the story of a young man who inadvertently weds a corpse while on his way to marry his living fiancée. Along with the enhanced video and audio quality, the 4K release offers new bonus features such as 'Digging up the Past: The Minds Behind The Corpse Bride' and 'Til Death Do Us Art: A Corpse Bride Reflection,' in addition to legacy extras. Warner Bros. will also re-release the film in theaters in October 2025 to honor the anniversary. The film originally performed well at the box office and was nominated for Best Animated Feature at the Oscars.
