An Audi owned by Sanket Bawankule, son of Maharashtra BJP chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule, caused multiple accidents in Nagpur early Monday morning. The car, driven by Arjun Hawre, first collided with a car and a moped, injuring two individuals, and then hit several other vehicles before being stopped near Mankapur bridge. Sanket and two others fled the scene, while Hawre and another occupant, Ronit Chittamwar, were arrested and later released on bail. Blood samples from Hawre and Chittamwar have been sent for alcohol testing, and police are reviewing CCTV footage to determine the full sequence of events. Chandrashekhar Bawankule has called for an impartial investigation, asserting that the law should apply equally to all involved.
