Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has officially opened the Fairmont Breakers Long Beach, a historic hotel that has undergone a multi-million-dollar renovation to blend contemporary luxury with its original 1926 architecture. The hotel features 185 rooms, including 22 suites, along with the city's only luxury spa, a rooftop pool, and two signature restaurants, one being the revived Sky Room. Mark Steenge, the hotel's general manager, emphasized the property's role in the evolution of Long Beach as a vibrant destination, offering high-touch service and elegant experiences. The hotel's decor includes restored historic elements alongside modern design, aiming to create a unique atmosphere that honors its past while providing modern amenities. Additionally, the voco brand has debuted in Atlanta with the opening of voco The Darwin Hotel, focusing on sustainability and local culture with plant-based amenities and recycled materials.
