Multiple U.S., Canada Pools Host Annual Dog Swim Events

Several communities are hosting dog-friendly pool events this September to celebrate the bond between people and their pets while providing opportunities for dogs to cool off before the end of summer. McKamey Animal Center in Lakesite, TN, will hold its annual Pool Pawty with five swim sessions and activities benefiting animal care. Enid Parks and Recreation is offering a free Doggy Dip event at Champlin Pool, allowing dogs to splash before the pool season ends. The Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo & Stratford Perth announced the Dash & Splash event at Kiwanis Park Splash Pad, featuring a Small Dog Hour, food trucks, and prizes to support animal welfare. These events emphasize community involvement and support for animal shelters, with registration required for some and free admission for others. They highlight the joy and care surrounding pet ownership and animal rescue efforts.
