Broeker Takes Over as Marquette Athletics Director

Marquette University has announced the promotion of Mike Broeker to vice president and director of athletics, succeeding Bill Scholl, who is retiring after 10 years. Broeker, who has spent 21 years at Marquette, including 18 as deputy director, will assume his new role immediately. He has been instrumental in managing day-to-day operations and focusing on external operations and revenue generation, as well as overseeing several sports programs. His prior experience includes working with the NBA and Women’s Tennis Association. The official announcement and introduction of Broeker will take place at a press conference on Thursday. Scholl's retirement was delayed due to the previous president's death, which paused the search for a new athletic director.
