Brussels Metro Closed After Shooting

On Wednesday, Belgian police initiated a search for two suspected gunmen following a shooting incident at the Clemenceau metro station in Brussels. The suspects, seen on CCTV wearing balaclavas and armed with what appeared to be Kalashnikov rifles, fled into the subway tunnels, prompting the closure of several metro stations and suspension of service on six lines. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported in connection with the incident. The Belgian prosecutor's office and local police suggest the incident may be drug-related. Reinforcements have been called in to aid the search, with the investigation ongoing.
