Mandy Teefey, Selena Gomez’s mother and CEO of the mental health startup Wondermind, has strongly denied allegations from anonymous former employees accusing her of drug use and erratic behavior at the company's office. The claims, published in an exposé by The Cut, included accusations that Teefey snorted what was believed to be Ritalin and regularly received IV drips of liquid Benadryl, which allegedly caused her to appear drowsy and hallucinate break-ins. Teefey rejected these allegations outright, stating she began Wondermind to help people with mental illness and criticizing the claims as lies from disgruntled staff.
