Multiple College Basketball Stars Enter Transfer Portal

Several college basketball players have recently entered the transfer portal as teams transition into the offseason. Renna Schwieterman from Purdue Fort Wayne announced her transfer after averaging 5.7 points this past season. Minot State's Calen Van De Griend, an All-American forward, has also declared for the portal following a standout season averaging over 21 points per game. Georgia's RJ Godfrey, who previously played for Clemson, is among three players from the Bulldogs to enter the portal after averaging 6.4 points and 3.8 rebounds in the 2024 season. Additionally, Indiana's leading scorer Yarden Garzon is set to transfer, having averaged 14.4 points this past season and holding a school record for three-pointers made. This wave of transfers reflects a broader trend as players seek new opportunities following the conclusion of the NCAA tournament.
