North Phoenix Shooting Leaves Woman Dead, Suspect Arrested

Phoenix police are investigating two separate shootings. In one incident, a man was seriously injured in a north Phoenix shooting near I-17 and Deer Valley Road on Saturday morning, and the suspect remains at large, prompting a temporary closure of the area while authorities search for leads. In a separate case on Friday morning, 45-year-old Alma Suchilt was shot multiple times near 40th Street and Meadow Drive and later died at the hospital. The suspect, Johnathan Llamas Cisneros, who shares a child with Suchilt, was identified and apprehended after a pursuit involving multiple agencies, including the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Public Safety. Llamas Cisneros faces charges including murder and felony flight, and the incident is being treated as domestic violence. Investigations into both shootings are ongoing, and police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
