TRNSMT Festival Plans June 19-21 2026 Return Glasgow Green

TRNSMT, Scotland's biggest music festival, will return to Glasgow Green earlier than usual in 2026, taking place from June 19 to 21. This change aims to enhance the experience for fans, artists, and the city, and avoids clashing with the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow scheduled for late July. Since its inception in 2017, TRNSMT has been a key cultural event, featuring headliners like Paolo Nutini, Arctic Monkeys, Calvin Harris, and The 1975, along with stages showcasing emerging Scottish talent such as Gerry Cinnamon and Lewis Capaldi. Festival director Geoff Ellis emphasized the festival's evolution and its role in kicking off the summer with live music and a vibrant crowd. While the 2026 lineup has yet to be announced, anticipation is high among fans, with organizers promising details soon. The festival continues to attract up to 150,000 attendees over three days, offering diverse stages and music experiences.
