Britain Covey signs one-year deal with Rams

Britain Covey, formerly a standout punt returner and wide receiver for the Philadelphia Eagles, has signed a one-year deal with the Los Angeles Rams. Covey, who joined the Eagles as an undrafted free agent in 2022, established himself as one of the league's most consistent returners, averaging 14.4 yards per punt return in 2023. Injuries limited him to just five games last season, and his role was overtaken by rookie Cooper DeJean during his absence. Now healthy, Covey will look to carve out a depth role on the Rams' roster, joining a receiver group that includes former Utah and BYU star Puka Nacua. Covey's move ends his three-year tenure in Philadelphia, where he also contributed in postseason games and on kickoff returns.
