Supreme Court Reviews CBI Status in Doctor's Murder Case

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has submitted its fifth status report to the Supreme Court regarding the rape and murder case of a trainee doctor at RG Kar Medical College, indicating that a chargesheet has been filed against the main accused, Sanjay Roy, on October 7. The Supreme Court has requested another status report within three weeks, reflecting its ongoing concern for the case's progress and the investigation into the roles of other potential suspects.
