Multiple US, UK Venues Plan Extensive Halloween Horror Film, Event Series

This fall, several major horror-themed events and film series are set to thrill fans across the U.S. In York, the Dead Northern Film Festival returns with a three-day lineup featuring world premieres, UK debuts, cult classics, and live events from September 26 to 28. The Carolina Theatre in Charlotte celebrates its first Halloween season since reopening, hosting a monthlong classic horror film series including Dracula, Frankenstein, and Halloween, with special events like live character actors at the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Southern California’s Universal Studios Hollywood hosts Halloween Horror Nights 2025 with eight haunted houses, scare zones, live entertainment, and themes from popular franchises such as Five Nights at Freddy’s, The Purge, and WWE. Each event offers unique experiences from immersive haunted houses to screenings of iconic horror films, catering to diverse tastes within the horror community.
