Drunk Driver Kills Workers in I-91 Crash

Three construction workers from Premier Fence in Canton, identified as Ryan Almeida, Raul Bohorquez, and Igor Costa, were killed by an alleged drunk driver, Bilal Griffith, on Interstate 91 in West Springfield. Griffith fled the scene after the crash but was later captured and is facing multiple charges, including three counts of manslaughter and leaving the scene of a fatal accident. A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to assist the families of the victims. The crash remains under investigation by the district attorney’s office, local police, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
