Russian Overnight Attacks Damage Seven Kyiv Districts, Kill Four Including Child

A massive Russian air attack on the night of September 28 caused widespread damage across multiple districts of Kyiv, resulting in fatalities, injuries, and fires. Seven districts including Solomianskyi, Darnytskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, Holosiivskyi, Dniprovskyi, Obolonskyi, and others experienced damage to residential buildings, non-residential structures, and vehicles, with fires breaking out and being extinguished by emergency services. The attack resulted in at least four deaths in Kyiv, including a 12-year-old girl, and multiple injuries, with some victims hospitalized and others receiving medical aid on site. Significant damage was reported to key facilities such as the Institute of Cardiology, and debris from UAVs caused fires and destruction in various locations. Authorities deployed emergency headquarters in affected districts to assist victims, with ongoing rescue and recovery operations. The Kyiv region also suffered damage and injuries, including in Fastiv and Bila Tserkva, where fires were extinguished and medical aid was provided to those affected.
