A$AP Rocky Stars In Spike Lee’s Cannes-Premiering Crime Thriller

A$AP Rocky is expanding his career in both music and acting with significant new projects in 2025. He stars in Spike Lee's crime thriller "Highest 2 Lowest," a modern remake of Akira Kurosawa's "High and Low," playing Yung Felon, an aspiring rapper involved in a kidnapping plot; the film also features Denzel Washington and marks Lee and Washington's fifth collaboration. The movie premiered at Cannes and will stream on Apple TV+ starting September 5, with a soundtrack including two new A$AP Rocky songs. Concurrently, Rocky is set to appear in another A24 film, "If I Had Legs I’d Kick You," premiering in October, alongside Rose Byrne and Conan O’Brien. Musically, Rocky continues to build anticipation for his long-awaited fourth studio album "Don’t Be Dumb" with new singles like "pray4dagang," featuring KayCyy, produced by notable producers including James Blake.
