Ukraine Strikes Major Russian Oil Refinery, Naval and Missile Targets

Ukraine has intensified its military campaign targeting Russia's energy infrastructure and military assets, delivering significant blows to key facilities and vessels. Ukrainian forces struck the Kirishinefteorgsintez refinery in Kirishi, one of Russia's largest with an 18.4 million ton annual processing capacity, causing explosions and fires that have severely disrupted its operations. This refinery, located over 500 miles from Ukraine's border, has been repeatedly targeted in recent attacks, contributing to acute fuel shortages within Russia. Additionally, Ukrainian forces damaged a Buyan-M class small missile ship near Lake Onega in Karelia, a Garmon radar station, an Iskander missile system transport vehicle in Kursk, and a command post of Russia's 8th Army in occupied Donetsk. These coordinated strikes are part of Ukraine's systematic effort to degrade Russia's military and economic potential by disrupting logistics, fuel supplies, munitions, and weapons production.
