Murder Charge Filed in Ilford Stabbing Case

A murder investigation is underway following the fatal stabbing of 50-year-old Billy Keegan in Ilford. Police were called to Chapel Road at approximately 1:06 AM on October 4, where Keegan was found with a stab injury and later pronounced dead at 1:30 AM. Initially, three men aged 40, 36, and 28 were arrested on suspicion of murder, but they were released without charge. A fourth suspect, 30-year-old Muhamed Nur Osman, was arrested on October 5 and has since been charged with murder and assault causing actual bodily harm. The investigation is being led by the Metropolitan Police's Specialist Crime Command, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward. The victim's next-of-kin have been informed and are receiving support from specialists.
