A woman from Coraopolis, Kaylynn Lucas, faces multiple charges including attempted homicide after allegedly stabbing and attempting to suffocate another woman, Saniyah Gates, during a confrontation over a missing phone. The incident occurred in Pittsburgh’s East Allegheny neighborhood, where police found Gates with significant injuries, including cuts to her head. According to reports, Lucas accused Gates of taking her phone, leading to a violent altercation where she stabbed Gates with a paring knife and attempted to suffocate her with a plastic bag. Lucas was found by police in the building and taken into custody.
