Diddy Faces Multiple Sexual Assault Lawsuits Ahead Of Federal Sentencing

Sean "Diddy" Combs is facing two new sexual assault lawsuits filed just a day before his federal sentencing for transportation for prostitution charges. The lawsuits, brought by Lakeisha Ward and Dejoan Bledsoe and represented by attorney Tony Buzbee, allege that Combs drugged and sexually assaulted them years ago—Ward at a 2018 pool party at his Los Angeles home and Bledsoe at a Beverly Hills hotel in 2009 when he was 18. These new allegations add to a growing wave of approximately fifty cases against Combs in New York and California. Combs, who was convicted in July on two charges but acquitted of more severe counts, is currently held without bail and is seeking leniency in a heartfelt letter to the judge, expressing remorse and a desire for a second chance. Prosecutors are pushing for a sentence exceeding 11 years, while Combs' legal team requests a sentence capped at 14 months. The sentencing hearing is scheduled in Brooklyn, and the new civil suits do not affect the criminal sentencing but intensify his legal challenges.
