Frankie Muniz announced that filming has officially wrapped on the Disney+ limited series revival of Malcolm in the Middle. The four-episode series follows Malcolm and his daughter as they are drawn into family chaos around Hal and Lois's 40th wedding anniversary. Muniz expressed how the experience rekindled his love for acting, a passion he had not fully embraced before, and shared heartfelt sentiments about reuniting with the cast and making new memories. Original cast members Bryan Cranston, Jane Kaczmarek, Christopher Masterson, and Justin Berfield also returned for the project, with creator Linwood Boomer writing and Ken Kwapis directing. Although Muniz wanted to share pictures from the set, Disney prohibited it, but he invited fans to imagine the cast enjoying their time together.
